The Road Dawg Bus

Comfortably getting out of the comfort zone.

The Road Dawg Bus was born a 2001 International 3800. While it is still that, it has transformed into a full blown adventure mobile with the amenities and design to live very comfortably. Full kitchen galley, fully functional bathroom and enough off-grid battery power to power the fun amenities inside, the Road Dawg is an instant modern classic. Somewhere between hauling kids to school and becoming what it is today, we found evidence that this bus made it to Burning Man a few years ago, so we’re excited that we could give this old bus new life and it can continue to create memories and give good experiences.

We started this project in early 2020, when the world was a simpler time. This bus was forged through a global pandemic so much so that (among many things) the only available paint in near supply was mixed to create a custom “YETIBUS COVID-19 Blue”, which turned out to be exactly what our client was looking for to set the mood on this two-tone gem.

  • Premium additional electronics include: external LED Front Light bar and backup LED lights w/ backup camera, premium stereo and speakers

  • Full wet-room with marine grade FRP including on-demand hot water, shower, Natures Head Composting toilet, MaxxAir Fan Deluxe (10 speed with remote)

  • Custom galley including:

    • 6’ dinette with walnut table and alder support

    • 9’ lowers with walnut butcher-block counter, 23” undermount sink, Dometic 17” 3 burner stove w/oven, beverage fridge
